COMMEMORATING SEPT. 11: RESOURCES AT AFT ONLINE

The AFT has created a special area of our Web site to commemorate Sept. 11. The site provides resources for teachers who choose to incorporate the events of Sept. 11, 2001, into classroom lessons. Visitors can link to historical documents, view pictures and poems created by New York City public school students, and order posters and a curriculum that celebrate democracy and freedom. Also featured on the Web page are AFT's resolution on Sept. 11, AFT president Sandra Feldman's new column on the subject, and links to other resources.
